    Been a sysadmin the last 10 years, in general IT for over 20. Their story makes perfect sense. They rehearsed with a handful of devices, then handed out a shitload for the live demo.

    It’s not that the wifi was bad, they swamped it. Foreseeable? Sure, but just about every tech fuck up was obvious in hindsight.

    The dumb part is expecting these things to take off. People were getting punched in the face over Google Glass and I don’t think human nature has taken a wild swing in the last few years. Even if I wanted a pair, I wouldn’t wear that shit in public.

    I’m also not sure how they avoid civil and criminal charges in states that are two-party consent (to being recorded). Anyone know how that works?
