The wild thing about Stephen Miller is that, even if he never opened his mouth. Even if you had no idea about his politics or his stance on literally anything. You could just look at this guy and think “Yeah…this guy looks like he definitely has an SS uniform in his closet at home.”

He could be a nobody on the street, and you’re a casting director for a big time WW2 film looking for extras to play nazi officers. You see him and you think “My god…he’s perfect.”

weird how he has been ranting non stop about “radical leftist” judges and their huge conspiracy, and they need to purge them… and then some supporter goes and attacks a judge.
    ….
kinda exactly like stochastic terrorism and not too hard to prove in court

What I don’t understand is, why would we need to wait for someone’s house to be set on fire to make it stick in court? The intent and actions of the stochastic terrorist are still the same.

Our legal system is pretty stupid that way.

in past cases i’ve only heard of it being pursued in civil courts after the fact… feels like there’s something different when talking about judges but he always qualifies his rhetoric…
like “and there’s only one thing left to do, with this giant conspiracy using the law to manipulate the government! (pause) pursue legal action within the guidelines of the law, of course!”.
it seems a lot like he’s implying legal action is pointless and it’s time to do illegal things….
also looking at the director of the fbi and attorney general doesn’t give me hope they’ll pursue this one….

It’s what they want to have happen. They just need it to be blameable on anyone other than violent psychopaths.

Somehow they still think “influencing” the message means “controlling” the message.

How is this not bigger news!

I have to listen to weeks about some random podcaster getting shot, but a judge whose made judgements against trump has their house burned down and everyone is all quite?

MAGAs always start blaming Libz immediately, we can do the same thing. The thing is, we’re probably going to be right, it’s almost ALWAYS a right-wing whacko.

But 100% of arson causes fire damage. It’s not like a car, where there’s a purpose other than fire damage.

            We should outlaw arson.

Right now no one has any evidence of wrongdoing. The most likely cause if fires is accidents.

While it is possible this was arson we have no reason to assume it is right now.

I understand what you mean, but my criticism is with the news/reporting.

Weve had multiple democratic politicians be attacked and murdered whose whole time in the spotlight doesn’t cover the media attention that Kirk got.

Hell, we still don’t really know why Kirk was shot.

In this political climate, a judge’s house going up in flames should be a huge story. Sure it could end up being nothing, but so did the story with Kirk.

To be fair, Kirk’s murder was graphic and in a public event. He was a pretty-well known figure, whereas most people don’t know who this specific judge is. The arson didn’t happen in a packed crowd in broad daylight.

This probably should be bigger news, but is makes sense why it isn’t as widely talked about

Because this convention was in the aftermath of Jan 6, and they were scrambling to both normalize insurrection attempts as well as “own the libs.” From that perspective it was a perfect theme. We should ensure the moniker sticks.

Which is why I always say that MAGA will ultimately be destroyed by their own virtuosic incompetence. It’s almost inevitable, they are just too stupid and ignorant to succeed. An eventual fatal fuck up is inevitable.

This is a perfect example. When they should have been running as fast as possible in the opposite direction, they actually thought it was a good idea to double down, and embrace domestic terrorism in the wake of their treasonous insurrection.

In the future, when the PROGRESSIVE Dems take back America, this photo will be a major piece of evidence in establishing MAGA as a treasonous, racist, terrorist hate group. They can’t blame this on Libz, this is their own doing. They freely admitted it, and promoted to America and the World. No walking that one back.

That will allow MAGA to be dismantled, abolished, and prohibited.

I hope you’re right. Repugs could easily succumb to their own stupidity, sure. But it’s a tall task ahead for progressives.

They not only have to beat the corporate dems who presently run the party and also rig the primaries to remain in control, but then they have to go on to beat republicans rigging national elections. All while the corporate media is demagoguing them like it’s the red scare 2.0. With enough people behind them, it can happen, but how to break through to such a downtrodden and heavily propagandized people?

If you think of Republicans like Sinn Fein, then “maga” is basically the terrorist wing, so maga is like their IRA. Except in this case, the conservatives are fighting for the end of democratic principles (and human rights, etc.).

PeeWee Himmler imagines himself to be a Hitler-style orator, so he melts down all the time, and it’s hilarious. Check out this recent one where he addressed cops going into Memphis.

      https://youtu.be/IZKBuqdBy5Y

The whole thing is funny, but the end when he starts convincing himself that they are “ruthless” and “hardcore” is hilarious. He is the absolute archetype of the smarmy coward trying to act tough, and fooling NOBODY. You just know that if he took one punch to the face, he’d collapse like a sack of potatoes, and start crying and begging for mercy.

Goebbels was the propaganda guy, and liked being in charge of the movie industry. Himmler, OTOH, was the guy who wanted to kill every last Jew, and was the architect of the Final Solution.

PeeWee probably greatly admires both psychos, but he definitely has more in common with Himmler.

So it’s PeeWee Himmler. Not sure who the Goebbels is in this administration, maybe Bannon, maybe Leavitt, but neither fully occupies the role. I think it is still to be cast. More candidates may emerge once the Ellisons have fully taken over CBS, and started programming overt MAGA propaganda.
