    Yes. If anyone is confused about using a Helldivers meme when that game is a satire of fascism, they know that. There is a big stink over media literacy and it’s become it’s own meme. They purposefully choose antifascist media to champion and they interpret it unironically out of spite. They make fun of those trying to make fun of them for not getting the point. They know the point but they don’t care. They see Helldivers and they want that to be America and the bugs/robots/etc to be…you know. They love Starship Troopers. They love American Psycho. There’s no real way to beat them with media literacy. They know subtext is dead and they love it.
