  • quantum computing is still in its very early infancy, literally NOTHING about it is stable yet. we can barely get them to run a dijkstra’s algorithm, let alone anything actually useful. if you don’t keep the processor cool enough it’ll just kill itself, and we’re already trying to mass produce them? putting that aside, quantum computers have a very small use case. most things it does, a classical computer can do better. who is the target userbase for this? the very saturated market of theoretical quantum physicists? i am very skeptical of this man

  • i just got off shift and i’m thinking of making an info megathread with everything about kirk’s death. if you find anything else pls send it here too.

on the topic of his political affiliation, i’ve been thinking more and more about it and honestly the guy might actually be a groyper. the slogans are oddly vague all things considered and the fact that nick himself all of a sudden posted a video denouncing political violence is very suspicious to me. but yeah blah blah blah wait and see and whatever the fuck the court hearing is in 2 days.

  • to be fair, the entirety of social right wing politics hinge on the existence of a lower class of humans (in this case migrants). in loomer’s eyes this isn’t hypocritical at all because she does not see migrants as humans, period. a million migrants could die tomorrow and she’d use their rotting corpses for a photo op.

  • eh, that’s also true. i guess the absurdity of this entire situation is what’s making people talk about it. kirk got his neck popped open by a bullet with “notices bulge OwO what’s this” engraved on it while debating a dude about trans gun violence, wearing a “freedom” t shirt and sitting under a banner that said “prove me wrong”. it is all just so fucking insane and stupid and kind of horrifying. it’s like a car wreck you can’t look away from.
