I wonder if anyone has gotten close enough to him to ask him what he thinks the cognitive test is supposed to be like. It isn’t supposed to be hard. It’s supposed to test that your brain is fully functional. It tests attention skills, decision-making skills, judgment, language, learning, reasoning, remembering, thinking and understanding. You only get tested if there’s a good reason to believe that it’s needed to narrow down which skill you’re lacking in so you can get a better diagnosis of what is wrong with your brain. You don’t do it in a hospital for fun.
The test he’s talking about is one they give to test for dementia and he also basically admitted to getting an MRI, which together makes it sound like the stroke rumors were probably true.
This is what I’m going off of, and it does say that this test requires follow-up testing to make a diagnosis, especially if your provider suspects mild cognitive impairment or dementia. It also seems to feature a lot of the same questions that he mentioned.
lol
I think it might be a standard thing for Presidents to get just because they’re the President, but it is nonetheless extremely concerning the way that he talks about it.

the Presidentfive hundred years oldThat too, yeah, and especially someone as old as Trump.
It’s been almost a decade since we had a non-senile President.
(This should be in no way read as praise of Obama or Bush)
I would love to believe so, but if they’d stop running coprolites, maybe they wouldn’t have as much of a need to test the mental capacity of presidents…
