WATTERS: And then they sabotaged the teleprompter. I mean, this is an insurrection. And what we need to do is either leave the UN or we need to bomb it. It is in New York though right?

GUTFELD: Yeah, it is.

WATTERS: Could be some fallout there. Alright, maybe gas it?

DANA PERINO (CO-HOST): Let’s not do that.

WATTERS: Don’t gas it. Okay, but we need to destroy it. Maybe can we demolish the building? Have everybody leave and then we will demolish the building.

So much violent rhetoric from the right. And yet the right and their “centrist” boosters keep saying it’s the left that is so hateful and violent.

Likelihood is very low, but if I’m ever taking an escalator and I see Trump on it behind me - you better bet I’m dropping my phone and awkwardly hitting the ‘emergency stop’ button at the top.

I’m just clumsy like that 🤷🏻

Wonder if someone else was clumsy in this case?

Edit: I just read that it was someone in Trump’s own escort/group that pressed the ‘emergency stop’ ahead of him. Fucking what? This whole inconvenience/attack is manufactured.

The UN is headquartered in New York. This guy therefore is directly calling for terrorist acts to be committed on US soil. That’s slammer-worthy.

Who’s doing the political violence again?

It’s like saying an embassy is not US soil. Sure, politically, that might be true, but for all non-political purposes, it very much is within the US.

@hyperhopper@lemmy.world @ExtremeDullard@piefed.social if it’s international soil, why (and how) could US deny Mahmoud Abbas from attending the UNGA, especially during an increasing recognizance of State of Palestine from other countries and the current UN proposals towards a two-state solution? I can also point out examples of this regarding an the country I reside: why (and how) could US make it difficult for part of the Brazilian delegation (such as Ricardo Lewandowski, current Brazilian Ministry of Justice, and Alexandre Padilha, current Brazilian Ministry of Health, the latter of whom ended up not attending in protest to all the restrictions imposed by US) to attend the UNGA?

Downvoted for actually knowing the truth. Am I back on Reddit?

“though the structure is physically situated in the United States, the land occupied by the United Nations headquarters and the spaces of buildings that it rents are under the sole administration of the United Nations. They are technically extraterritorial through a treaty agreement with the U.S. government.”

It’s not inconsequential if there’s an attack though? It being on foreign soil means a high level judge appointed by Trump can literally just rule that no laws were broken on US soil.

Okay and what would happen if that were bombed or gassed? It doesn’t matter if the land is politically separated. Bombs will physically destroy it and the surrounding area. Therefore it is not the truth in this context because we are speaking of the location of the land itself.

I think my brain seized up when a fan of both fElon and Taco declared a vote against Taco was a vote for the oligarchy.

It’s clear they heard Bernie out there campaigning against the oligarchy, had some vague notion that it was not a flattering word, and decided to apply it to Biden and Kamala.

I mean. What. The. Actual. Fuck.

Except actual insurrection. They want to water down the word in people’s minds so the terrorist attack of Trump supporters trying to kill the people certifying the 2020 election and Donald’s subsequent pardoning of all those terrorists and firing of anyone who dared participate in the investigation against them doesn’t seem so bad.

“I hope they get to the bottom of it, and I hope they really injure, emotionally, the people that did it.”

Cool. Perhaps someone could bomb, emotionally, Jesse Watters? Like a really emotional F-bomb, I mean.

By the way, the intended purpose of this isn’t to comment on the UN or whatever. The purpose is to openly flaunt the fact that the rules don’t apply to them whatsoever. With this and the “kill the homeless” comment, they want to rub it in the faces of leftists and liberals. If those groups say anything even slightly controversial about Charlie Kirk, it’s disgusting and vile and they demand severe consequences. But Confederates can say whatever, because they have the power and they want everyone to know it and feel it.

Does that mean they just need to laugh maniacally while bombing him? Or cry tears of joy? I wonder if the MAGA world will emotionally mourn the loss of this hateful little goblin as much as they did Charlie Kirk.
