All good 9/11 truther is about if the bush admin did/didn’t know about 9/11 and let it happen and the extent the Saudi government was involved (spoiler: heavily)

Al Qaeda: Osama Bin Laden, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, and Mohamed Atta were the architects and orchestrators of the attacks and the planes took down all buildings that day. There were no bombs, thermite, controlled explosions, cruise missiles, ect. Flight 93 was taken down when the hijackers intentionally crashed the plane after the passengers rallied to try and seize the plane

Eyewitness accounts with sources of people who saw the pentagon plane strike

GRAPHIC: Flight 93 cockpit recording which includes audio of the hijacking, ATC, passenger revolt, and final moments

Popular Mechanics has a great book and abridged article covering the physics of how the towers and other buildings fell

The best free, long form explanation on the building collapse is the WTYP 9/11 special which also features a bonus treat of the hosts live reacting to the news of Ruth Bader Ginsbergs death

The r/911archive subreddit is a highly moderated and excellent resource and all topics related to 9/11

I’m a 9/11 head and can answer questions with first hand sources if anybody has any

Ok, I got into an argument the other day with someone on Hexbear - they were a big truther and I’m just someone with a casual knowledge of it.

They said: “Explain the cheering Mossad agents outside, the Israelis who all weren’t at the World Trade Center that day, Building 7, bodies blown out onto nearby rooftops in areas that supposedly just had office fires & the known CIA arming and funding of the Saudi pilots then.”

I would be keen to know your thoughts on it as a sane sounding person.

If it’s of any help to see where I’m coming from, I’ve attached my very long reply.

      my reply

I had to look up a lot of what they said. I eventually replied:

"Ok. They didn’t all have ties, and Israel requires military service so everyone’s going to be military related. I agree, this one is the most suspicious, but I can’t believe in the whole theory based on this one alone. I am willing to believe they were just sick assholes not knowing what they were celebrating.

Plenty of Israelis and Jews were in the towers and surrounding areas. Records dont show any abnormal absenteeism. I know 2 people who ‘should’ve’ been in 9/11 but had a flight delayed or whatever. I know one person who got off the train one stop before the 7/7 bombings just because they fancied a walk and a bacon sandwich that day. Things just happen.

Bodies blown onto rooftops - the insane forces inside that building shot debris out for miles. When those floors collapsed a great vacuum of force was shot out the sides. When the plane hit there was a fat fuck off explosion. A limb is not that heavy.

Building 7 is pretty convincing, I will give you that. Very odd ‘coincidence’ but these things do happen on the same day as other things happen. When you scour a mega city for clues you’re going to find connections.

There isn’t a direct link to the funding of the pilots is there? CIA trained bin laden and so on in Afghanistan. They’ve funded radical terror groups to the tune of millions of dollars. Yes, US money might’ve bought groups money, but I don’t believe the hijackers were in contact with the US at any point regarding orchestrating 9/11."

        Your responses nail everything

        1. There actually were 5 or so Mossad spies in NYC/NJ at the time conducting surveillance on the united states and terror plots, and witnesses did describe them as acting cheerfully, they were charged with being in the country illegally and deported. None of this is really enough to say Israeli govt was directly involved. Mossad is fascist and the 5 probably just liked watching people die, or were happy to know the US was about to get more involved in middle east affairs

        2. No jews in the tower is just a straight up antisemitic falsehood. Hundreds of jews died that day, many showing tremendous bravery

Graphic: Footage of a jewish volunteer EMS service running into the collapsing towers

        1. The physics of the building 7 collapse are well explained. Building 7 was not a priority for fire fighters and was allowed to burn for many hours, causing structural weakness. NIST report. Another hole in the theory is what would the possible reason for the government blowing up a small office building next to the twin towers been? I’ve never seen a compelling motive

        2. bodies blown out onto nearby rooftops in areas that supposedly just had office fires

To be crass, this is dumb. A massive sky scraper collapsed and it’d tremendous force sent debris everywhere. A piece of one of the planes was found only over a decade later a block and a half away from the towers

i was referring to video evidence of an area that did not suffer collapse or explosions yet at that time, only office fires.

so much anti-“truther” crap is just people making uncharitable leaps without doing research and defaulting to the official narrative out of normalcy bias

how has 3 years of Israeli gaslighting, lies and genocide and obviously true and correct Zionist conspiracies not opened your eyes at all yet, still defaulting to George W. Bush’s appointed bullshit cover-up panel as if it’s an authority.

i’m relating OP to general grains that are very common in 9/11 truther shit, not all of them are about limbs and explosions: jet fuel and steel beams, aircraft impressions in buildings after crashes, the characteristics of asbestos, etc. etc. etc.

9/11 trutherism is infested by knowitall dingbats that don’t have the first clue how things “should” look declaring it was staged based on vibes. i don’t rightly know that applies to you, but you didn’t make a good first impression.

the user above is directly quoting my comment from another thread

that stuff is just minor window dressing anyway, the core truth that Mossad and CIA were heavily involved and knew of it beforehand and helped plan it, helped train and fund the organizations responsible, participated in a cover-up to hide these connections & then took advantage of the spectacle and terror to invade unrelated parties is indisputable. They had the Patriot Act and Iraq War already drafted up and ready, and the second 9/11 happened they hit go.

certainly, my point is i find it worrisome when people emphasize and focus a lot on the mechanics of the operation, because it usually introduces wrong ideas.

the politics are both mostly unfalsifiable and introduce doubt around state power so i don’t think it’s very offensive. my opinion is that it’s not a very effective grain to focus on in 2026 but it’s whatever if that’s how you want to convince people the CIA is bad

Jet fuel doesn’t melt steel beams!

No, but as my friend who went on to work as an engineer in the aerospace industry for Boeing then the billionaires (because we grew up on Star Wars) explained very calmly, the point at which something melts and something loses structural integrity are two very different temperatures.

The user is referencing my comment and I did not say that there were no Jews in the tower, I said that prominent Israelis were conspicuously missing. Which is objectively a fact, as referenced later in this very thread. Why are you doing the zionist thing of twisting anti-Israel posts into anti-semtisim?

You can’t just handwaive away mossad agents illegally being in the right place at the right time for the most spectacular terror attack in history to “monitor terror”. Nor can you handwaive away the decades long extensive intelligence connections between Al Qaeda, Mossad and CIA - who have always been allies since their inception and always worked collaboratively together both before and after 9/11.

You want me to believe that Al Qaeda just became legitimately anti-USA for 1 day in 2001? Come on. We invaded unrelated countries (Iraq, Afghanistan) precisely because we were allied with the people who actually did it (Saudi Arabia, Israel, ourselves).

I apologize for conflating Israelis and Jews. I am use to seeing right wing 9/11 conspiracy theories where Israel is used as a shorthand for Jews and acted off instinct

I said that prominent Israelis were conspicuously missing. Which is objectively a fact

5 israeli citizens died on 9/11. 1 in the plane, 4 in the towers. Give me names of these prominent Israeli citizens that were supposed to be in the tower on the morning of the 11th but by coincidence were not

You can’t just handwaive away mossad agents illegally being in the right place at the right time for the most spectacular terror attack in history to “monitor terror”

Israel spies on the United States. It’s logical to assume they would have spies in New York City, it’s most prominent city, the headquarters of the UN and various other government and international agencies, a city which also experienced a terror attack in 1993

You want me to believe that Al Qaeda just became legitimately anti-USA for 1 day in 2001? Come on

My brother in Christ Al Qaeda tried to destroy the towers in 1993 and killed several people, wounding around 1,000, killed over 200 in the 1998 embassy bombings, and nearly sunk the USS Cole in 2000. Al Qaeda has a long history of attempting mass casualty incidents against the USA

politically irrelevant, personally a waste of time. people don’t actually give a shit about 9/11. it was over 20 years ago, whatever “ammo” it could give you against the powers that be, more recent crimes have beaten 20 fold.

it’s also rife with people who don’t understand anything they’re talking about (probably par for the course tbh), so it can introduce misinformation that might harm your actually meaningful activities.

tif you dont want to get into it to talk to a friend who’s into it, it ain’t worth the heap of time.

e: it’s like the 2000 US election, it’s basically proven that it was stolen, the implications are (probably) catastrophic. and it animates literally no political movement whatsoever.

Eh, I wouldn’t really bother going down that rabbit hole. The most I could believe is that the US had some advance warning of the attacks and chose not to act on it - the idea that the US was specifically courting the attack on the twin towers, or that they staged it themselves, is basically just total nonsense. With all the wars the US has staged on foreign countries on a whim, would they really need to fabricate so much pretext to do what they’d already been doing for years?

On the advance warning thing - it’s worth noting that “receiving a tip-off about a possible terrorist attack” is not the same thing as knowing 9/11 is about to happen. Ignoring any warnings is careless, but it isn’t necessarily the same as being willingly complicit.

Michael C. Ruppert’s Crossing the Rubicon is a good reference, particularly for his documentation of the airline drills.

He’s a cop who became a good cop by quitting the force. He was a narcotics detective for the LAPD and became disillusioned when he uncovered the government’s involvement in drug trafficking. Here’s a short vid of him speaking truth to power on that issue, to give you a feel for his character.

Howard Lutnick was the CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald. Howard Lutnick is the current Secretary of Commerce in Trump’s cabinet. Howard Lutnick was an affiliate of Epstein and Epstein’s emails show that Lutnick visited Epstein’s Island.

658 employees of Cantor Fitzgerald were killed in the 9/11 attacks. Howard Lutnick coincidentally did not show up to work that day.

In December 2013, Howard Lutnick sued American Airlines for $135 million for failing to prevent their plane from crashing into his company office. People thought that he was going to share the money with employees’ families but he kept it all for himself.

My heuristic for conspiracy theories follow two simple rules:

    1. You should throw out the official narrative.

    2. You should also throw out the wacky alternative explanation that always seem to show up as soon as you begin questioning the official narrative. It’s a psyop to either herd you back to the official narrative on the incredulity of the wacky explanation or get you sucked into a conspiracy theory rabbit hole that is no more closer to the truth than the official narrative.

Roswell is a good example. The official narrative for a long time was that it was just a simple weather balloon crash. The wacky alternative explanation was that it was a flying saucer. What actually happened was that it was part of a top secret project to monitor Soviet nuclear bomb testing with balloons. Obviously, they can’t spill the beans about what really happen, so the official narrative was first pushed. It was later, after the JFK assassination and Watergate made people skeptical about the US government, that this logical skepticism was weaponized through conspiracy theory psyops.

In terms of 9/11, this means throwing out the official narrative (9/11 happened due to intelligence failings) and 9/11 truther shit (the twin towers collapsed due to a controlled demolition and the Pentagon was hit by a cruise missile). My personal explanation is that someone from the US state department was feeding intel to al Qaeda, using Mossad or the Saudis as an intermediate.

Some talk about building 7 like that’s the big reveal.

… I rarely (almost never) hear anyone else talk about the cylindrical holes on the roof of buildings 5 and 6.

Even if the graphics, the physics, the mismatch, were not enough to at least sense something’s wrong, perhaps looking at buildings 5 and 6 can help sublimate to see what’s going on.

… On a completely unrelated topic ;] did you know we could have had spaceships each since the 1930s? Safe enough a 2 year old can fly home, zero point energy, zero inertia propulsion, can sustain human life indefinitely, and can print another of itself instantly. By human innovation. Follow the tech arc from Michael Faraday through to Nikola Tesla… They were experimenting with high freq electromagnetically cancelling out inertia on their hot air balloons in the mid 1800s. Full working prototypes, that all they needed to was make them capable of handling the vacuum of space, et viola, they have spaceships. Yes, even before the Wright brothers famous flight. We never needed rockets.

Imagine what other technology could have been getting hidden from us by the agnotology industry, through the lost century.

And if they’re willing to abuse us by keeping us all down, by lies so vast, denying us the potential of humanity, causing so many pointless resource wars, suppressing our sublimation to abundance and space… and they have the technology… it’s no great leap, even without looking into where the mass~ the volume of the towers went, or what the holes in buildings 5 and 6 were, or the dustification, or the “pull it” and BBC’s pre-reporting on building 7, and how to fit a 757 into a pentagon shaped hole, and the timely absentees, and the fighters that were ordered to de-scramble and not intercept, and that they used agents and assets, and that the whole plan was laid out in The Project For A New American Century think tank’s published planning documents, or any of the hundreds of other clues in the timelines and testimonies, … they dark tetrads drawn to power, have no empathy nor moral compass holding them back, from deploying that which can be used to empower, educate and emancipate us, instead to terrorise us, make us ignorant, and enslave us.

… But it doesn’t matter, because, it’s just a ride. And we can change it any time we want. A choice, right now, between fear and love. The eyes of fear want us separated, bigger locks on our doors, bigger guns in our hands, bigger strongmen to save us. Whereast instead, the eyes of love, see us all as one.

Here’s what we can do, to change the world to a better ride. Take all we spend on weapons arming the world, and instead spend it feeding, clothing and educating everybody in the world, not one excluded, and we can explore space, both inner and outer, together, forever, in peace.

Thanks Bill Hicks, for that prayer. :) Flap those butterfly wings. We can still mend this. :)

PS, Oh, oops. Got carried away on this topic, like I usually do. I’m not sure I really (at least not directly) answered your question:

should i be getting trutherpilled on 9/11, whats there to read about it that’s written by somewhat serious people who aren’t posting about frazzledrip in their spare time?

Did not know what frazzledrip is… 5 second websearch suggests it’s about the deeply rotten stuff the psychopaths corrupted by power get up to for fun at our expense, our suffering, our lives… … and, I’m not sure I follow any line of reasoning I can imagine to have that be the criteria. Maybe that’s intended in a more general sense. But even then, that’s confusing as to how that would be useful criteria. Do you find that a strong indicator for the [un]trustworthiness of a source? [… I somewhat suspect that more makes one susceptible to being misled, out of epistemologically sound thinking, by subtle smears of association.]

Not having a firm handle on what your criteria is for what makes for acceptable reading on the topic for you, a couple “serious” names spring to mind:

    • [the] “Math Easy Solutions” [guy. I forget his name], among his many articles and videos on maths, physics, geometry, engineering and so on, he also, ever since after being challenged to put his engineering skills to use and do the maths on 9/11, and him actually doing it, and finding out the incongruities and impossibilities of the official narratives, he now also includes various streams where he goes through various aspects, the maths, the physics, of 9/11.
    • Dr Judy Wood, at first many people read the tabloid summary of her work, and dismiss her and her work off hand without actually looking through it. At the very least, it makes for an interesting, fun, visually entertaining challenge to look though her book, and attempt to refute any part of it. And/or fun to see how much one reflexively tries to cling to a world view, and suffers cognitive dissonance.

But who knows. The first casualty of war is the truth, and in this sea of misinformation, everybody’s a shill. No one has the whole elephant ~ and we are all just another blind man with another piece of the elephant. Leave no stone unturned in the search for the truth. Listen to those who seek the truth. Run from those who claim to have found it. “It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain an idea without necessarily accepting nor rejecting it” – Whoever said that first.

… I miss the pre-wikileaks days, when it was all distributed, no single point of failure to attack, no figurehead to smear… just people, doing their democratic duty, educating themselves so they may educate others, as democracy requires a fully informed public. And we do not get that from a central source, always the target of the usurpers. Not that an absence of an obvious teacher or tyrant in the room is any guarantee of free egalitarian pedagogy, as Ed Bernays’s Crystalising Public Opinion has given us a towering warning from history, that they can usurp the minds of the masses, even form the masses to their liking…

“It’s no wonder nobody learns history. You just learn way too much.” (-- I forget who). And fail to learn, doomed to repeat. Here we are. A lost century on.

        Well said.

And not just America, as the ruling class care not for the lines on the map other than as tools at their disposal to ultimately maintain the paradigm they care about greater than their squabbles among each other (significant portion of which is just for the tooled-up show anyway).

I know you are mainly talking about military spending, but it’s worth emphasizing that people in power will not let their power simply he voted away, so arming the world is pretty important, it just needs to be the working class rather than militaries directed by the owning class.

they can usurp the minds of the masses, even form the masses to their liking…

Whether you realize it or not, this is fundamentally a misanthropic and elitist viewpoint. Mind control does not exist. Enculturation exists, and it has certainly been weaponized by the owning class, but it’s not mind control and we do not stand above the masses as enlightened rebels who posses minds to a greater degree than they do. We have divergent viewpoints because the status quo materially does not work for us, so the ruling ideology does not work for us, so we constructed or are trying to construct an ideology that does work for us, which we do based on the tools we each have and our own limited perspective, leading some people to better solutions and some people to quackery. That and nothing more.

I know you are mainly talking about military spending, but it’s worth emphasizing that people in power will not let their power simply he voted away, so arming the world is pretty important, it just needs to be the working class rather than militaries directed by the owning class.

That was a Bill Hicks quote (/paraphrase).

And indeed, empowering each and all’s the way. USA’s 2nd amendment could be interpreted to mean we’re each due the very best of technology… So, the NRO and DNI (or whoever other compartmentalised special ops groups) should not be the only ones with the best toys. We should each have the best toys. Spaceships for everybody.

That’s amusing. “Whether you realize it or not” can be seen revealing the three fingers pointing back, of your assertion “this is fundamentally a misanthropic and elitist viewpoint”.

“Mind control does not exist.” Lands flat on its face here. I used to work in advertising. I’ve seen how much could be achieved, how much the culture could be changed, with just my team of 2 and effectively zero budget, in 3 months. … And then there are those who’ve invested trillions over generations. But sure, lets respin it, gaslight it, use pedantic misdirection, it’s not “mind control”, merely the power of suggestion. LOL. A little more awareness of the likes of Ed Bernay’s Crystallising Public Opinion, may help reveal why so much gets invested… it’s not because it does not work. And atop that, there are the likes of various psyop projects, such as famous ones, like MK-ULTRA, Project Monarch.

And then even various technologies, like the woodpecker and other HAARP-similar installations past and present all around the world. Various security technologies currently deployed can be likened to rudimentary (as in the game “singularity”) “hypnosis fields”, extending on from sonic dispersal technologies. Then consider the incentive and ability of the corporation to have mobile phones, with all their many scanning & tracking abilities, processing abilities, (and under the rule the corporation bought for itself, that it’s not allowed to not do everything it can to maximise profit, “to protect their shareholders”), to have these mobile phones function as cold-readers (like conmen, and mentalists), sensing your biology, emitting signals to nudge, like a constant pavlov’s dog scenario, subconsciously, subliminaly, unbeknownst to the individual being used by the device. Had I not woken up and seen the horror of what I was really doing, when I was working in advertising, telling myself “I’m just dong me job [to serve the client to the best of my abilities]”, and if I lacked the conscience (as many do, as is self-selecting for the industry), I’d have carried on in the advertising industry, and absolutely would now be using these technologies to better manipulate and control people by.

Main notion I’d ensure I have well implanted, and tied in place with many subconsciously implanted associations and identifications with, is the idea that mind control does not exist. Like a Jedi mind trick, “these are your own perceptions, prejudices, preferences, and purchases”. That was, after all, just my job. Same as is still currently the job of millions of people, all around the world. [And we even get people to repeat our message… y’know, advanced memetics and such… enculturation and syncretism and ecumenism and fashion and so on]

Then there’s the whole psychology aspect inside the sociological and historical explorations of “mass formation”, and the totalitarianised psyche. … Seems it would be foolish, even an outright blatant deceit, to claim such only ever arises spontaneously, naturally, and that any who seek to gain political or economic power from it are mere opportunists, and never would, nor even could actively induce such.

And [gosh I don’t half ramble on… I meant to just mention this as 3rd in a short list 3 paragraphs ago]… Agnotology. The whole agnotology industry. So vast as it is, and yet, they must be good at their job, because I’ve yet to encounter anyone who seems to be aware of it. … Besides the authors of books on it, I suppose, if we’re to have that qualify as encountering them. Agnotology, the study of causing ignorance. At least as it practiced as precursor to its application, what we might call Agnogeny. The generation of ignorance. A significant portion of this industry, is the secrecy classification system, and (as bleeds into), the patent system. “But! The patent system! They show how things work! They’re the opposite of generating ignorance!” I hear my imaginary audience splutter. Ask them (or better yet, their whistleblowers) how many patents they secret a year. … How many of them were for technologies that would have disrupted the economic paradigm and obsoleted various anti-competitive monopolistic and monopsonistic industries that deem themselves “too big to fail”?

So if we run a little equation in our heads… multiplying advertising, psyops, biohack tech, and agnotology… Seems implausible that “mind control” does not exist.

Or maybe they’re all wrong, and have just been wasting all that money all that time. XD XD XD XD XD XD LMAO.

“90% of advertising is wasted” was a maxim I was taught in college, just before leaving to carry on my advertising career … I tell the story about watching a Bill Hicks VHS over and over in the background for the 3 month duration while animating my first TV advert, including his bit starting “Anybody here work in advertising or marketing?”, a lot, so I’ll skip it here, but that’s basically next in the chronology. It was well understood that it’s not really wasted. It’s just that’s not who you’re targeting. And so, to the user (in a flat-maths way, not considering efficacy of targeting influencing what’s even seen [as tech better avails these days]), that means you 90% of the advertising you see, has no discernible impact on you (at least as measured by purchases (as shifting perceptions, prejudices, preferences are harder to put metrics on to track), because those were not the ones targeting you, and so that lends to the false sense of safety, the illusion that you’re more impervious to influence than you are. Making spotting when you are being influenced even harder. “Yes, these are my own thoughts and ideas, my own preferences and I have no prejudices, and these purchases are entirely of my own rational intuition and genuine need and want, all of my own.” XD

Sorry, wait, what else did you say? I got so snagged by that snare of cunningham’s law, I forgot/overlooked there was more…

Oh that’s right, that line went on to DARVO and gaslight us out of our due democratic voice by conflating us with the abuser, in saying:

and it has certainly been weaponized by the owning class, but it’s not mind control and we do not stand above the masses as enlightened rebels who posses minds to a greater degree than they do.

See how it’s a kind of “truth truth lie”? Beautifully done. Right on the nub, demonstrating the denial and tactics used in mind control to claim there’s no mind control. Heh. There are industries that pay handsomely grotesquely for such skills.

Buy the trust, “I’m just like you, I hate those nefarious meddlers too”, gets them soft, then can easier implant the conflations and contortions, once they’re operating by association. It’s old tribal stuff in our heads, easy to hijack. Sprinkle in some ego hijacking stuff too… even easier to hoodwink. By whatever they already identify in association with, even easier yet, as that’s right at the survival brain stuff, and the critical thinking forebrain’s barely active at all once triggered, and so wont catch the deceit. … 's all kinda basic stuff, if you work in advertising, and you’re “just doing your job” to the best of your abilities for your client. (… which in itself, I realise in hindsight, a split second after typing that, that phrasing too can be seen as another trust-buying fallacious snare, the expert. Hah, I wish I’d done that intentionally, but nope… over 2 decades since I renounced advertising, still some of those insidious un-epistemological "convince"ings still running their patterns in me, still to be fully exorcised.)

It’s a comforting slumber, the thought that this situation of [increasing] divergent viewpoints is all headed to inevitable mending of the situation, the obsoletion of the over-homogenising imposers who’ve been causing the misfitting system that increasingly makes things not work, and a cunning gaslight broadbrush carrying the presumption so lamented earlier, like we’re to be silenced as equally (or more) than the rulers, and all praise therefor to the credentialed, as if Quackery’s the problem we’re to react to, demanding a solution. ;]
