We had some German exchange students at my american high-school. Someone tried talking to them about how Hitler was some great orator and brainwashed the poor German masses.
The Germans had no idea what they were talking about, and explained how his Austrian accent made him actually kind of hard to understand lmao.
Yeah he was considered to be a “hick” due to his accent. He was like Larry the Cable Guy doing Arnold Schwarzenegger impressions.

And then they have the rage-inducing ability to then act flummoxed when some other miseducated dishit reads a transcript and says “some of what this Hitler guy said was alright” while the seething mass of nazis say “we were right all along!”
