    Yeah, the government needs to be open and functioning for SNAP to work. Right? All i hear is that SNAP isnt going to work until the government is open, and that is up to the democratics to open it? What am I missing?

    Ive lived in the hood, and everyone there was selling their SNAP. I did.

    Just some 1st hand knowledge for you posers.

    P.s. I know some people do legit use though too, I did that too. It just is what it is.

      Your first sentence is wrong. There your question is answered. Snap is pre-funded. Meaning when the government is shut down, there is still money for Snap to pay its employees and administer benefits.

      Now that you k ow that do you want to rethink your other questions?

      People will find ways to game any welfare system, but that’s not a reason to look down on them. We have so much fucking money in this country, and billionaires and corporations can just fly to fucking France to eat dinner on a whim, but criticizing the people in the lowest rungs for the reality they’re in… meh
