America is deeply racist and a hundred years of national humiliation will not be enough

This is a great line, I’m totally going to steal it

My favorite new whataboutism is the Han supremacy stuff, which it’s always concerning when a big culture starts dominating things. Yknow. As Yanks you’d hope we would understand. Also given we did and do way more white supremacy just in the vague international white supremacist sense and in the nationalist American sense than china does “Han supremacy” by any fucking definition
The Han supremacy stuff is so bizarre because like yes, Han is obviously the majority ethnic group in China, but the Chinese government in all its propaganda and stuff makes a big deal about the 56 different ethnic groups that populate China. Always tries to highlight minorities, teaches those languages in schools, dances and songs expressing those cultures show up everywhere, all the signage in those places is in both Mandarin and the minority language, etc etc. And you compare that to actual existing white supremacy, which actively suppresses any acknowledgement that minorities are somehow “different” and “worth celebrating” or anything.
Yeah it’s all projection. When one culture gets big it can squish or pressure other things like languages etc etc. it’s not bad per se, it’s natural, and the way China is reacting is so much more appropriate.
whataboutism
Why is it even hard to believe that a country with four times the population of America generates more electricity than them?
Some genuine thick fuckers on Reddit.
but have you considered China bad??
we’re down bad for China
USA and China are almost equal in land size, if that’s what you’re referring it.
bit more complex, is not just size.
It’s wild that China ONLY produces 2x the electricity, when you consider the population and amount of industrial uses.
As that is still way less electricity per person.

I was curious what the growth rate was. Looks like they were at 1x only fifteen years ago.

Nice. Hopefully we’ll see that coal start to drop off soon.

Energy data from 2023 indicates that Chinese households and the service consume way less energy than American households (per capita). For households, it’s about 1/4rth. For services, it’s about 1/8th per capita (rounded figures).
smartest redditor
not a bit, this dumbass is unquestionably smarter than the rest of the dumbasses on reddit. there is nothing of value on that site, which is populated exclusively by dumbasess
Americans will be busy duct taping their homes together after the tenth once-in-a-hundred-year flood all while denying that China is building its tenth nuclear reactor in a year
oh sure just believe China when they say they’re producing twice as much electricity as us, what an idiot just falling for that CCP propaganda
/s just in case
You ever wonder what this type of person thinks the manufacturing in “country that makes everything for everyone” runs on? Like is it Monster Inc. style we’re harvesting the energy from kicked puppy screaming or do they assume it’s either nuclear reactor that blows up every 3 years or coal?
its adrenochrome they get from the democrats and their sick rituals
nah it’s like Conan pushing the mill
What is the source of this breathtaking ignorance and hostility to progress?
