Graham Platner to @daveweigel.bsky.social:
"How do you expect to win back men when you go back through somebody’s Reddit history and just pull it all out and say: ‘Oh, my God, this person has no right to ever be in politics?’"
DSCC Chair Gillibrand: “It’s up to the voters of Maine to decide.”
Kinda seems like a fumble inherent to the medium. If you’re just gonna stream of consciousness into a camera for hours on end, you’re inevitably gonna eat crow on a half-formed opinion that was rushed out to fill dead air. Aping the style of cable news, but without the hundreds of hours of behind-the-camera labor that goes into making it all look off the cuff and effortless.
Surprising given his takes on Ukraine. He seemed to think that “russia being so bad” justifies “Ukrainian communists and nazis working together” - which is honestly repulsive if know what happened with Ukrainian communists during the maidan coup.
yeah thats him. fwiw Hasan has not been a tattoo defender, and seems to no longer be a fan of this guy. Low bar but good to see.

I like how it’s the nazi tats that made this dude change his mind and not how he was a piece of shit genocidal “soldier” who went on 5 different tours
fine with him being a war criminal though
