Yes, I’m not actually that big of a Final Fantasy fan myself. My best friend is and they have shown me a ton about it and I’ve grown fond of seven for it’s generally leftist messaging that was stand-out compared to other games of the time. Plenty of messaging on poverty, class, war, exploitation and you’re working with a gang of eco-anarchist terrorists waging war against the corporation that is quite literally killing the planet to harvest it’s energy. FF9 is my favorite otherwise.
