Context: this piece of filth barged into Psych 210 (The Diversity of Human Sexuality) throwing up nazi salutes, yelling Heil Hitler, and calling everyone “removed removed” (edit: and “removeds”). Class didn’t appreciate it.

I thought his body language was a tad desperate for the situation and then the kind camera person panned around to reveal the 50 person crowd flooding down the steps toward him. Fucking cinema.

I think it’s amazing if this dude was doing heil hitlers that he ends up mewling about people ganging up on him. Like, when your people gang up on others, they are rounding innocent people into a barn and setting it on fire, what the fuck did you expect? He’s incredibly lucky that he didn’t get stomped out for that shit – it would be self defense! – and still he plays the victim.

I hope the lesson that he learns from this is not that he should bring a gun next time, but I am pretty confident that that’s the lesson someone will learn, and they’ll have a seat waiting for them in right wing media if they pull it off effectively. I think the only real deterrence to prevent a situation like that is to be able to meet such an assailant with overwhelming force, and to by some means make that fact understood.

Not the worse swastika pose I’ve seen, but the Deus Vult sword guy at BLM did it better:

Next time a nazi is on the ground whining about being oppressed like that, the correct move is to simply break his jaw with a swift kick to the face to shut him the fuck up

I’m not unhappy he didn’t catch a beating. Not saying he wouldn’t have deserved it, but the humiliation, being led off in cuffs and digital record of his F’ing around is a decent amount of finding out. I will say though that the offender’s invasion of the class and outburst ought very rightly be seen as a threat of violence, attackers have started off by barging into classrooms or shouting invective before.

But also, kudos for the show of force, everyone together coming with. Part was certainly because of the crowd, but hot damn that made me feel better about (some) things.

Cool video, cringe 3 arrows logo.

People love outright shit like this cause it’s really easy to call it what it is and oppose it. It makes me feel good seeing a crowd chasing off a fascist like this too.

But these people are not intelligently spreading their message, just being inflammatory to own the libs. Most are still down to sit at the table if the language is dressed in the right liberal phrasing - like a 3 arrows graphic!

Idk maybe I shouldn’t shit on the vibes, it is cool seeing these losers be chased off.

If you refuse to interact with anyone who is succdem or further, how the ever loving fuck will you be able to build any kind of movement?

At some point it just seems like complaining for the sake of complaining.

Yeah, cause that’s the meta on the site and the place I choose to complain about it cause it’s a commie forum. I’m not in the bluesky replies saying “yeah but what about your 3 arrows avatar” cause, as I offered as a caveat to the complaint originally, it’s shitting on something that doesn’t necessarily deserve it in the moment.

People use “commie” to refer collectively to all ideologies that are interested in getting rid of class society, as well as specifically to talk about Marxism. I am very certain that they meant the former in this case. This is not a “left unity” forum that gives any respect to views that it is capable of recognizing seek to perpetuate class society indefinitely, as socdems do.

So what do you suggest people should do when confronted by a social democrat?

I don’t see anything wrong with pointing out that they are liberals, but I’m confused by the implication of that statement.

To be fair to those kids though, I imagine they probably don’t want to risk getting expelled for beating the shit out of this loser on campus, even though he deserves it.

It was the middle of the day and seemingly the middle of campus as a crowd of like 50 people paraded through. What’s the meta here? Concuss this fucker so bad he can’t ID an assailant and count on 50 college kids and the professor all plausibly denying knowledge of who kicked the shit out of him? What about other witnesses, both third party and even a detractor to violence in the group? And what about the security cameras that are running on campus anyway that could easily ID the people in the crowd and their relative proximity to the shitstain? What about forensic evidence?

No, for a spontaneous reaction from a completely disorganized crowd of college kids, the biggest issue is probably that some elements of violence aren’t legally defensible (though tossing him on the ground was imo, from a “citizens’ arrest” standpoint). Being non-violent (but ready to pounce if he did something even more stupid) and just humiliating him at length on camera was the right call from the starting point of not having some sort of protocol arranged beforehand.

Easy to say you’d kick him in the face, but like, you don’t go or work there, and they’re all surrounded by peers and cameras.

I probably still would’ve kicked him in the face, but I’m not going to say that’s the best option for me personally.

      cowards all around really though…

      What a disgusting response

      didn’t do shit to him

Just because you and I would have found it cathartic does not mean it was the right call. There were a dozen cameras and he was already pepper sprayed, tossed on the ground, spat on, and humiliated.

didn’t even respond when he started saying “i thought you guys were the party of peace” or whatever the fuck he was saying

Turn your volume up or use common sense, they absolutely did. It’s hard to make out what they said, but they clearly indicate that he’s being ridiculous.

Honestly the optics of him on the verge of tears complaining about the “party of peace” cuz some kids chased after him and made noises at him is chefs-kiss

I mean yes it would have been funnier if they had roughed him up and stolen his shoes but hey what we got ain’t bad
