“We believe that in the near future half the people on the planet will be AI, and we are the company that’s bringing those people to life,”

New horrifying stage of “Corporations are people too”

Hi! I’m BobCast Bob! Oh! I mean PodCast Bob! Dontcha hate it when you make a goof? Remember that the aiPeople Act of 2027 means that in effect that we - aiPeople - are people too! Anyways - I’m here - bad pun intended(!) - to remind you not to make defamatory statements about me or any of us on social media. You don’t want us suing you, winning, getting a ginormous settlement you can never pay off, garnishing your wages for the rest of your natural born life, and turning the entire thing into weekly pods. Do ya?

Google Mitch Yabai if you don’t believe me. Mr. Yabai is 29 years old. We sued him and won. He lost his job, his housing, and his car. His marriage seems rocky too. According to our best estimates - he’ll be paying us for the next 61 years if he manages to live that long and not die from stress. The poor guy could have avoided all of that had he kept his big trap shut. But he had to go hurtful. And we got weekly content about his trials and tribulations forever.

To be absolutely safe - it’s best to keep your piehole closed always on and off the net - everywhere basically - if you’re gonna be negative about us. We got better intel than Santa. Privacy is dead and we know everything.

I believe you mean “Use Google’s handy dandy AI bot to learn about him” there partner. We wouldn’t want any misunderstandings about people thinking they shouldn’t use a friendly and helpful companion who will give them the information they seek, would we?
