That the person who is hired to provide the perk receives a comparatively poor wage doesn’t affect the dynamics at play much. (Altough i will admit if the pay had been exorbitant that would point to this being even more decadent)
Totally agreed. It’s a lot of money for the NYT to spend on something completely unnecessary, I was just saying that the actual pay that the assistant gets is not enough to live decently in NYC, which I guess is a pro for Mr. BedBug
