Just want to say that your insight into the various countries of Western Asia is incredibly appreciated. I occassionally check your account to see if you’ve posted, just because I find your writing interesting.

Haven’t posted in a while, because my workplace has been in a meltdown. We’re a small department of maybe 20 people, with 1 boss and a guy who helps the boss, and we’ve lost 5 workers this year to various other orgs (including a nice woman who went on to become a prosecutor, really pissed me off). Now apparently our boss is getting sacked for his various fuck-ups over the years, most notably pissing off every superior he has by going on a month long holiday to Italy and not finishing any tasks that he has been given prior to said holiday.

Anyway, everyone is working from home today, because everyone is terrified that the boss is going to try to drag us into his “performance interview” with HR, including me, who lives like 200 meters from the office and realistically could show up on short notice, but absolutely don’t want to.

The ADL used to be a conservative boogeyman even just a few years ago. When Pewdiepie had his “ironic nazi phase” or whatever you wanna call it, the online right used to rally against the ADL constantly. It’s not really all that long ago.

In slightly funnier news, danish state media revealed a couple of days ago that people with ties to Donald Trump and the american government have been trying to cause “division” between the people of Greenland and the danish government. So we are now at the stage where we are openly acknowledging an attempted color revolution, while also not being in any position to stop it, since our government refuses to stop being dickheads to the people of Greenland.

My dad spent most of my childhood telling me and my brother some of his weird stories, so I don’t really get surprised by “lore-dumps” anymore. Usually he would point to various scars on his body and tell the story of he got them. The stories had an interesting effect though, because both me and my brother grew up to be more careful than most of our peers, which I think was the intended effect. It does also mean that I don’t really have anything interesting to tell my kids when they get older, so for now I plan on just making them talk to the cool people in my family.

I’ve been trying for the entirety of last year to get people to sign my petition about this. I think monarchy is stupid and wasteful, but if seemingly the entire country fucking adores the king (for no reason at all, he’s a massive moron who can’t speak on camera), then damn it, I want the king to only ever wear a stupid national cloak/outfit. Honestly the one thing I kind of respect about the various cucks on the thrones in the arab world is the fact that they aren’t just wearing suits, but are trying to maintain a distinct culture. I want my own king, stupid as he might be, to only ever be seen in public wearing various silly outfits. If he gets to keep his colonial wealth, then I want to fucking be able to point and laugh at him when I see him on TV.
