Stalinism is not a real sect, is it? Just a word used by trotzkyists as a slur. Are there any parties calling themselves stalinist(instead of anti revisionist)? Stalin was Marxist Leninist.

Actually there is a certain small “party” in Greece, Anasintaxi, which calls itself Stalinist. Not only that, but it insists that all Marxist-Leninist parties should instead call themselves Stalinist. Publishes a crigey newspaper/blog.

Stalin invented the term marxist leninist to decribe his views, and the term “Stalinism” was coined by his own politburo to describe his implementation of marxist leninist policies (Stalin didn’t like it)
Unless we’re calling Kaganovich or Khrushchev trots, and at that point you’ve rendered the term pointless.

At this point “Stalnism” is a derogatory term serving the same use “Tankie” or it’s just another word for ML. And either way it’s still a real term.
