Or let’s say, they snap their fingers and proxies appear out of nowhere, they spawn in pre-armed and pre-trained, and they immediately do a regime change on Cthulhu or something. What exactly would the thanos snap remove? Like, the main thing that preserves Israel as a country is the violence that they use to enforce their borders and state structures, and the external supplies and support that they receive primarily from the US. Think of it like a balloon, where the skin of the balloon is the state’s borders, the air pressure inside is the violence.
Would this thanos snap event just make all the weapons disappear? Because they would just get more arms shipments to replace it (pump more air into the balloon to reinflate it).
Your thanos would need to snap his fingers and make all of Israel’s nuclear weapons disappear, because if they lost the ability to preserve their borders through force they would absolutely launch their nuclear weapons at everyone in the region. It is their nuclear doctrine.

OK. Let’s just say Israel just collapsed and handwave away whatever specific means that the eldritch horror used to instigate it. My prediction is the Samson Option is used, the whole region gets nuked.
If Israel’s nuclear weapons were removed as part of the collapse process, then I think that the whole region would be a repeat of the partition of India and Pakistan, since you could squint really hard and say that the UK was an eldritch horror and they did this exact thing when they left the region. An incredible ethnic cleansing on both sides, but I think that the United States would absolutely fall all over itself to step in and try and occupy that vacuum. Even though the US is there already and can move quickly, I think it would be an absolute bloodbath. I think the US and the remnants of Israel would prevail, but it could easily spiral out of control and trigger nuclear conflict across the world.

Christian Zionists would just revise their understand of apocalyptic scriptures and not need the temple on the mount to be rebuilt for their end of the world prophecies to come true.
The strategy to keep the “middle east” perpetually destabilized would probably be continued but with severely diminishing returns on investment. Maybe after a few generations of people living in a world where that area of the world is no longer in a constate state of “on the edge of a regional World War III” there probably wouldn’t be too much support for destabilization efforts.
