I’d rather get very good ones instead of printing my own (I have a very basic printer).

I looked around the bootleg subred, is Ron still the way to go nowadays? Has anyone tried liberproxies?

Also, am I understanding correctly that Ron won’t print just any card, but only those in the Google spreadsheet? If yes, then liberproxies sounds like the better option for me.

Let me know your experiences!

I will secod MakePlayingCards.com as someone else mentioned. However, with the tariff situation this may end up being far too costly to do anymore. We will have to wait and see. I have used MPC a lot in the past and it’s always a great experience. The S33 is just like a Magic card.

If you just want to flat rate the cost and have the easiest experience, I would go with https://www.mtgproxy.com/. I’ve seen good youtube reviews of them and I’m about to order some PreModern proxies soon from here.

Oh, I hadn’t considered the impact of tariffs, I guess I should wait and see how it evolves. Still, their prices are very good, so I’ll keep MPC in mind and check out the other one you suggested. Thanks!

@TheMagicer I don’t have recommendations for good ones, but I’d recommend avoiding anyone who makes the cards look like the real thing, so as to not feed the counterfeit market.

This is a great question, thanks for asking it. I recently went looking for proxies for the first time and found a number of sellers on both Etsy and eBay. The one I settled on has nice art and typo-free text, but the cards seem to be slightly thinner and lighter than a real Magic card. I don’t know yet whether I’ll be able to tell the difference once they’re sleeved up.

I didn’t know about the resources others have suggested here and will definitely check them out for next time.

I checked out MPC and their prices look very, very good, especially if you’re getting a lot of cards, like I am. Thanks for the suggestion!
