Is it surprising to you that those in power act to keep themselves in power?

No. It shouldn’t have surprised me that centrists would blame the left for the actions of centrists to fuck them over, either.

No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
