I’ve never been to a concert where this happens. Sometimes people will spin a cup of beer or something overhead and you get wet. That’s generally in good fun, and part of the moment. but i’ve never seen someone deliberately throw a beer at a specific person. Most garage and house shows I’ve been to, doing that would get you carried out by very angry punks and possibly beaten up. Doubly so if the person you assaulted was a small woman.
Throwing at and hitting people repeatedly is some weird cringe shit idk why people think it’s remotely reasonable. Of course accidentally hitting people while dancing is fine but throwing cups and cans at people has literally nothing to do with that
Right? Mosh in the pit. If someone’s moshing and they’re not in the pit throw them in the pit. If they don’t want to be thrown in the pit, and don’t want to stop moshing, throw them out. All the rowdy shows I went to back when I was cool, those were the rules. Do your thing in the pit, don’t kick or throw punches, if someone goes down stop and get them up, don’t be an ass, and keep it in the pit.
Fairly standard at big long grimy rock festivals, especially if you muscle your way to the front.

Idk if the post changed or something, but dude is pretty specific there was no crowd, no band was playing. Some jackasses just straight up physically attacked a woman, intentionally, in the open.
Like idk what kind of shows y’all go to but at all the punk shows I’ve been to if someone did this they’d be removed by whatever means were convenient. Like did y’all read this? Dude’s small, woman friend is consistently, deliberately attacked at shows and he’s trying to find a solution to this other than getting in fist fights with strange violent men. It’s not him being attackedt him. Not the tall dude. The short statured small woman he goes to shows with. She’s attacked, deliberately, repeatedly, because she’s a small woman.
Yeah the reason the original post is funny is because of how much the OP is trying to come across as some cool badass, not him getting angry about people harassing his girlfriend. Lol, I’ve been to basement shows where the water heater started leaking with electric cables all over the wet floor, people shooting off fireworks indoors in a crowd, beer being flung everywhere and the gradual flooding was probably what stopped a fire and the crowd holding a spoonful of coke and a vial of poppers up to each nostril of one of the band’s singers while he played

Just don’t throw piss cups at people it isn’t that hard. Treating people like human beings is not difficult. No need to get in treat defender mode over people being obvious assholes
Obviously these folks should just avoid the crowd or go to concerts that have a vibe they actually enjoy, but it’s not weird to be upset when someone, accident or not, hits you multiple times/pours beer on you/etc (especially when it’s made clear to them that “hey, you swinging your fist around kinda hurts.”). Accidents happen, crowds get really cramped, but it’s usually considered courteous to be at least a little aware of where your limbs are going. It’s a 2 way street: you hit someone and they acknowledge it, maybe be a little more careful. Someone’s fist falls on your head, maybe remind them you’re right there? It’s not that hard. No matter the size of the concert though there’s always gotta be at least 1 asshole. Haven’t been to many with an invertebrate in the audience though.
All that being said, going to the manager is pretty fucking funny lmao. Just move a little further away from the stage and enjoy the show. You really can’t expect people to not spill in a crowd, or bump you, whatever, when you’re standing elbows to assholes or whatever the saying is.
Spill is different from throwing though.
