      Now I really want an avatar style platypus bird. Imagine how cute a flying platypus would be!

      Actually thinking about it, I feel like that would be the perfect representation of all four elements (venom has to count for fire, no?).

      When Plato asserted that man was a featherless biped, Diogenes stood, brandished the bald chicken and shouted, “Behold—a man!” Plato, perhaps missing the point of Diogenes’ criticism, then continued to amend his definition to “featherless biped with flat, broad nails.

      It has been known for millennia that men are featherless chickens. Get with the program people.

      I suppose if you happen to believe that chickens specifically are the descendents of dinosaurs, but you don’t believe that birds in general are the descendents of the dinosaurs?

      IDK. I’m having segment fault errors occur when I attempt to parse OP’s logical expression.

          We can probably just use process of elimination… They don’t have live babies or nurse their young, so not mammals… They’re warm blooded so not reptiles, amphibians, or fish… I think it’s self evident that they aren’t slime, mold, bacteria, or a virus… So, we’re left with birds

      The ability to fly does not make a bird. Birds are actually a pretty easy group to identify. Does it look like a bird? Great! It’s a bird!

    Reminds me of some 20 questions-like tv trivia where someone asked “is it an animal” and the other went “well, not exactly an animal”. It was a bird. 😳

      That reminds me of this clip. I showed this to a few people who also agreed that fish are not animals, at which point it turns into an argument about about Domain - Kingdom - Phylum - Class etc and I feel like I am losing my mind. Getting gaslit by stupid people is a frustrating experience.

      Birds are dinosaurs in the same sense that people are tetrapods. Like, sure, it’s true, but it’s not a very specific statement.
