Here is what I think a lot will do.

    Bargain.

And snitch on each other. And no one gets charged because they all made deals.

Same shit went down with a lot of Epstein criminals.

I think the snitches still need to lose parts, and live on as examples.

I agree. But with so many bought-people in Washington right now, it won’t happen .

In some ways I think we should wait to start the investigations until we near the next presidency.

And convictions after the new one. Cause I don’t want pardons.

        I don’t want leniency.

I think there are certainly innocent people in washington-cleaning the streets, cooking the food, trimming the trees, teaching the fuck toys of the Epstein class how to read.

so I don’t mean the geographic area of Washington.

but maybe the entire federal government just needs a bloody purge at this point. all the good people got kicked out already, so its not like we’ll be totally without institutional memory if some of them can be convinced to come back.

You want to be the first offered a deal, and leaving immediately signals you know things, and aren’t totally incompetent.

I didn’t realize that until now - any resignation is a signal for investigation to look at something.

The timing of it is almost certainly a “HEY I’LL TALK IF YOU CUT ME A DEAL”

Yeah, round up the low-level cronies using the subpoena power. Let them know they can have some degree of amnesty if they provide information that helps the investigation.

No amnesty for anything too egregious, but if they were just a mid-level bureaucrat, the information they have may be more valuable than their punishment is worth.

I hope someone is keeping track of these rats and investigating if they are bailing in an attempt to avoid prosecution now that rules might come back into favor.

I doubt they are doing it out of principle. Probably scared out of their wits that they are going to have to testify. Not sure why they think resigning is going to absolve them of their crimes.
