Theoretically, sure. Pragmatically, we just elected a fascist insurrectionist, and it’s not going to happen in the near future.

(1/3) +(1/2)(1/3) = 1/2
Math checks out from this end.
Clinton left a booming economy and projections to reduce, if not eliminate, the national debt in 10 years. Then came another Bush. Bush left a shitty economy for Obama, through bullshit tax breaks for the rich during a time of bullshit military spending among other dumb actions. Obama fixed things. trump inherited a booming economy from Obama, and slowly (maybe quickly) ruined it through gross incompetence. Biden inherited a shit economy and inflation from that moron, trump. After dealing with fallout from stupid trump policies (that’s being generous), Biden managed to turn things around and the economy was once again doing pretty good. Now that dipshit trump will give his idiot voters and the rest of us another shitty economy that the next Dem will have to try to fix. The wheels on the bus go round and round.
Modern fruit isn’t especially healthy:
At the Melbourne Zoo, the monkeys are no longer allowed to eat bananas. And the pandas are getting pellets instead of plums. In fact, fruit has been phased out completely. That’s because the fruit that humans have selectively bred over the years has become so full of sugar the zoo’s fruitarian animals were becoming obese and losing teeth. -source
For me that is much more than a pet peeve.
This is like saying 1,000 delusional people endorse Harris. I don’t think it’s the flex they think it is.
If trump actually…shudder…wins, he could do as he’s said and bring down the fascist military hammer on any type of dissidents. These billionaire ghouls don’t care what happens to the country or world, they just care about their hoard.
I have a family member who just cancelled their subscription to the LA Times over this. After having been a subscriber for decades and continuing to be a subscriber to “maybe slow the decline of traditional journalism” for the past years since its quality has severely declined, they just said,“Well, that did it.”
In Future Shock
,
Alvin Toffler argued that society is undergoing an enormous structural change, a revolution from an industrial society to a “super-industrial society”. This change, he states, overwhelms people. He argues that the accelerated rate of technological and social change leaves people disconnected and suffering from “shattering stress and disorientation”—future shocked. -from WP

A question and an answer all in one. Rhetorical question?
Should work. Just try it out and see if you get what you want. I tried:
alias llaa='pwd && ll'
then ran llaa
and it did what I expected, current directory and the output of ls -al
which is aliased.
Hell, I’ve had trouble believing it while living through it.
Republicans hate the Constitution because they hate democracy. So much of their efforts are thrown at suppressing voting.
Thanks for the link update.
I don’t know who y’all hang out with, but my friends for decades have given each other shit for anything we can possibly think of. It’s a form of male bonding.
I understand the progressive wing’s frustration with the slow pace of change within the Democratic Party. Unfortunately, such massive shifts in public opinion and policy can take longer than one wishes.
Oh, the public opinion has shifted. Has been shifted for years. It’s the party that can’t seem to shift.
Sigh. The last minute attempts by trolls are starting to flood in. Disgraceful.
I’ve heard “over yonder as the crow flies”, but I don’t think I’ve ever heard “over yonder as the crow the flies”.
Yeah, that’s fair. US mindset, I’m just still processing our shitshow.
