Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) signaled in an interview with Axios on Monday that she would not support New York City Council member Chi Ossé in a primary challenge against House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.).
Why it matters: Ocasio-Cortez is one of several high-profile progressives distancing from Ossé’s potential run, arguing that it is a distraction from New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani’s victory.
Ocasio-Cortez told Axios during a brief interview at the U.S. Capitol that she was “not aware” that Ossé was challenging.
“But,” she added, “I certainly don’t think a primary challenge to the leader is a good idea right now.”

Ok buddy. Thumbs up, good job.
Just say you want your own flavor of fasicm. If you wanna silence opinions you dont like own it instead of hiding behind patronization. But then again if you were brave you would know better than to fight fascism with fascism.
I want you to expend your effort in the most beneficial manner. To me, that’s fighting fascism. To you, that’s bitching about AOC and vigorously defending your safe, lazy bullshit by trying to call me a fascist.
I want you to be better, but you insist on being a pedantic contrarian. Goodbye buddy, get better.
Try not to keep being a fascist out of fear of other fascists. It’s pretty pathetic. Your patronization fools no one.
