Pauper
Can anyone point me to a list with the reason behind the bans for these cards in Pauper?
So, the new ban list for Pauper just came out, and it re-bans High Tide. That got me looking at the full ban list for Pauper, and it occurred to me that each of these cards is banned for a reason. But I don’t know any of those stories. A few of these cards I can look at and see, yeah, that’s obviously busted. But for many of them I’m not seeing the reason.

Better to link to the real wiki, not the leeches.

Oh, I take it there’s some drama as to who actually writes these down and the other wiki is just copying them? I had no idea.
Actually, I’m far more surprised WoTC isn’t maintaining a similar list themselves…
Either way, thanks for the link!
Fandom-hosted wikis suck. They suck really badly with their forced site theming, banner ads, video ads, and links to other on-site wikis you don’t care about. Magic’s community wiki used to be fine when it was hosted on Gamepedia but Fandom Inc bought that and made it shitty. Fandom is a terrible landlord.
Thankfully, Scryfall started up an independent wiki and ported the content over to it. Everyone’s there now but Fandom policy is to never let wiki admins delete their wiki because they leech clicks from their strong SEO. The best way to counter this (in all the games, etc. with wikis you use) is to always link to independent community wikis to float them higher in search results than Fandom Inc.
Path of Exile’s community pulled that off!
Yup, that’ll do nicely. Thanks!
