I can’t say he wouldn’t because he’s never had any of his own.
But I think I can guess pretty accurately that even if he somehow earned a dollar completely on his own, he probably would still try and borrow from someone else first.
That certainly seems to fit more with the Trump I’ve seen so far. His spending his own money, especially on something semi-public would make no sense at all.
