Yeah, one would assume that a reasonable person who was somehow unaware of the well documented history of that specific skull definitely being the Nazi skull would still consider that generic-seeming symbols still have uses as signals for certain groups, but then you have Mr. Yglesias, a man who’s every pronouncement reveals him to be utterly bereft of reason.

Yeah I’m not going to act like I’d heard of the Totenkopf before this Platner stuff because Texas education but I also wouldn’t tattoo it on myself, defend someone doing that, or make disingenuous remarks like OOP after it has been called out quite clearly.
