I’m glad we have moments like this which weed out the 7DeadlyFetishes-type posters. Graham Platner is a litmus test. Before today he gave me bad vibes and his military/mercenary history was a massive red flag. I wasn’t hostile toward the people who did support him, but I was more sceptical of him than most of the other socdem judas goat candidates popping up over the past few years. Today it’s such a bewildering scandal that there is no logical defense of it. Either he’s too stupid to hold public office and you’re supporting John Fetterman or he’s a Nazi and you’re supporting John Fetterman. If a candidate having a giant Nazi tattoo over their heart doesn’t deter someone, their instincts are too weird and I don’t trust their intentions.
And its most damming indigent when the this niche section of the “most” revolutionary section of the american left is falling on their knees for the socdem du jour over and over and over again. It seems not even a nazi tattoo is enough to make them question themselves.
