Today is Diwali, the biggest Hindu Festival and modern day Hindu Fascists have brainwashed people into killing themselves by burning billions of crackers in a single night.
The air is quite literally unbreathable and looks white. Yet people won’t stop burning crackers. No one wears a mask btw.
Hinduism is easily the most destructive religion on Earth right now, the pollution generated from rituals and festivals is unimaginable. As an ex-Hindu, this casteist piece of shit religion is a bane on Indian society actively working against the betterment of the Indian people. I wish the Communists in India actually had the balls to do a revolution in the 1950s and we wouldn’t be in this mess.
You are right in that there isn’t a crackdown. What I meant what was that back when I was a kid there were firecracker vendors everywhere when diwali came around. Now it seems they are can set up shop in certain areas only. I don’t know what the actual laws and such are for this. But it seems to have zero meaningful effect in terms of not poisoning the air.
