Today is Diwali, the biggest Hindu Festival and modern day Hindu Fascists have brainwashed people into killing themselves by burning billions of crackers in a single night.
The air is quite literally unbreathable and looks white. Yet people won’t stop burning crackers. No one wears a mask btw.
Hinduism is easily the most destructive religion on Earth right now, the pollution generated from rituals and festivals is unimaginable. As an ex-Hindu, this casteist piece of shit religion is a bane on Indian society actively working against the betterment of the Indian people. I wish the Communists in India actually had the balls to do a revolution in the 1950s and we wouldn’t be in this mess.
Here in Germany we also have every idiot doing their own fireworks at New Year’s. Granted there’s some regulations as to what fireworks are allowed and we don’t have anywhere near the population density of India, but it’s still obnoxious pollution for extremely mediocre fireworks. Luckily more and more people here are in favor of banning this practice. Extremely rare case of Germans learning.
Here in the states we have those same jackasses setting off fireworks not just at new years (for the entire week) but also Christmas, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, and also whenever they feel like it.
