Hinduism is easily the most destructive religion on Earth right now, the pollution generated from rituals and festivals is unimaginable. Not really. Fireworks were imported to India from China by Muslim rulers. It eventually morphed into this shitshow of a festival.
The original tradition was to light these things (called deepaks)
