Her politics may not be great (I don’t know them), but she has fun premises and she writes ok. I would have expected him to recommend her book on war (Grunt) given the others though.

Mary Roach writes fun pop science. Her politics may not be great (I don’t know them), but she has fun premises and she writes ok. I would have expected him to recommend her book on war (Grunt) given the others though.
