Stephen Miller may have just accidentally confirmed that he, not President Donald Trump, is the one calling the shots in regard to deportation raids and National Guard deployments.

“Illinois governor says we’re provoking actions that are unlawful,” Miller said on CNN on Monday. “Why would the mere presence—just think about this for a second. If I put federal law enforcement and National Guard into a nice sleepy Southern town, is anyone gonna riot?”

If I put federal law enforcement and National Guard into a nice sleepy Southern town, is anyone gonna riot?”

    Fucking obviously they will…

You start crashing cars into random people and hauling them off to a mystery location, and next time someone sees you on main Street, you’ll be lucky if they take you somewhere.

A small rural area, everybody is only like one degree of separation from each other. Those insular isolated communities generate the fear of outsider that Republicans exploit to get elected.

Feds start showing up in masks and rounding people up, well, that’s probably not how trump wants to reduce the number of federal employees, but it would do it thru death and attrition sure enough. And they can’t count on out of town cops with no connection to the citizens like in cities. The half dozen cops have all the same ties to the community.

They’ll as likely to go into rural areas as they are to go into gang territory.

ICE and smoke don’t mix, that’s why they’re exclusively going after the people unlikely to fight back.

    Probably, yes.

The only thing the good ol’ boys hate more than them “liberal queers” is the federal government sticking its nose in their business.

Ask Cliven Bundy if he’ll put up with the National Guard in his “sleepy” town.

They’ll take it, because they aren’t actually serious. Also because they’re on the “same team” or some shit.

Wait was this an actual question? Yes, Trump’s brains are mush. Dude likely couldn’t recall what’s on a tortilla and beef only taco.

There are zero ways that Trump is actually calling jack shit.

Replace I with Biden, or Obama (or anyone from not his side) and let’s see how that holds.

This is just a personal anecdote, but every time miller starts taking off on his own like this, trump is really fucking sick. First term it was covid. This time, he definitely had the mini-stroke droop and he’s acting fuzzy headed with slurred words.

If you put federal law enforcement in a southern town of 10,000 people to arrest 5 percent of their population, I think you’d be surprised what some small town community with trucks, tractors and guns will do to protect their own.

But also, you stupid hypocrite, you and your boss have been claiming that the mere sight of burning a flag is guaranteed to start a riot. Maybe just stop guessing what does and doesn’t cause riots.

Honestly at this point I wouldn’t mind Vance becoming president if he stands up to Miller. Key word: If, I have no idea if they clash. On the surface they seem to point the same direction, but it could be a matter of degree.

He wouldn’t stand up to anyone, he’s Theil’s puppet. I’d still rather have him for the simple fact that he doesn’t have what it takes to be a cult leader.

I think that any wishful thinking for a man even remotely attached to Trump is unwise. He’s just as owned by AIPAC.

Trump is essential for the fascists right now because he’s worshiped by idiots. But he doesn’t have an heir who is similarly loved by his fans, and his ego won’t allow him to pass the torch.

Right now the fascism is being propped up by a personality cult. Without that figurehead the movement may collapse.

But with Vance you get this, which makes Project 2025 look like a walk in the park. Vance is a proxy for Peter Thiel, who is worming his way into power in many countries at once, and is smart and evil and insane.
