It’s always mind boggling to me just how far the US establishment will go in designing things specifically to fuck over black people without expressly being openly racist. Like designing suburbs that can only be accessed via underpasses too low for buses to fit under (since black people use public transport more) actively making everyone’s lives worse, just so they can go out of their way to be pointlessly racist.
