Oh yeah, cartoonishly dead. Hardest I’ve ever laughed at a snuff video before (also the only time I’ve laughed at a snuff vid). I’m not proud or anything, just, it was really comedic setup and timing, with him talking about violence then just this gigantic upwelling of blood. Don’t really recommend watching it but boy, what a cathartic death to have in the news.

It really was almost comedic timing. That probably sounds insensitive, but on the other hand fuck their feelings.

jokes aren’t okay to only be directed at one side or another. everything is fair game

and objectively, his murder was ironic and with comedic timing, and that’s funny. regardless of it being a horrible event

Some of these jokes go right for the jugular too, neck and neck with other such jokes.

Same. The mod of a news community here on Lemmy sent it to me like “Dude”. I started watching it and started uproariously laughing. Loud as fuck massive belly laughs.

Felt weird after like “Odd reaction to someone dying” before remembering he literally wanted this and had been stoking it for actual years. Also, contrary to popular belief, you can totally be against gun violence while finding it utterly hysterical and not wanting it to happen. Do I want lil kids to fall over and hurt themselves? God no. But I’m probably gonna laugh at the goofs. Charlie Kirk was just a massive headed goof.

I think part of it was just the surprise, that happened so perfectly on beat in ways that real things like murder usually don’t so the juxtaposition felt really amusing

Oh wasn’t the surprise for me because the caption of the video as well as the message from my buddy made it clear what I was about to see.

          It was genuine joy.

There is no amount of money you could pay me that could give me the ability to even slightly suppress the fact that this news made me happy. Part of it is just the fact that he was a terrorist (stochastic still counts) who pushed ultra nationalist movements, preached violence, suggested it was necessary and even said a patriot should bail out the Pelosi attacker and therefore he was the victim of everything he has been claiming for years. But another part is a couple of weeks ago a friend of mine killed themselves and in their note they sent to me and a few other people they explicitly named Charlie Kirk and a bunch of other right wing people that drove them to that point. Someone who lost their family because when they came out as non binary they got slammed with hatred quoted from Kirk and others.

I know for an actual undeniable fact that Charlie Kirk is directly responsible for the death of at least one person and he had a platform allowing him to do exactly that.

So I don’t have a single tear to shed that isn’t from laughter.

Technically it’s only snuff if the person filming is paid to produce it.
      Anyways, sauce?

          Woah jeez

Yeah there was no way he was surviving that with how quickly he lost that blood.

I’m glad an audience of his supporters get to experience what so many other Americans have gotten to experience.

The blood isn’t the important part of that video. It’s his arms. That shot damaged his brainstem and he went into an instant fencing response which is a sign of a traumatic brain or brainstem injury. Even if he could survive that almost hysterical amount of instant blood loss, he would never have been the same. If he would have lived at all.

Ahh, nothing as healing as a fascist getting what he fucking deserved. The best of course would’ve been for him to see the error of his ways, and renounce his hatred. But hey, oh well.

Honestly the clips are probably easier to find on Mastodon. I’ve got a link I can send to you privately if you wish. Not like I don’t have it saved at this point.
