REMOVING A POLITICAL STATEMENT IS, ITSELF, A POLITICAL STATEMENT
Everything is political! That’s dialectics, baby!
That isn’t what dialectics is but I like the energy lol
I think I need to read more theory.
We all do, comrade!

Probably!
I ought to join a reading group of some description, might help me make the time to actually read some.
So real
It’s tangential. Dialectical thinking emphasises the connection between all things and looks at holistic systems, so cleaving away “politics” from everything is impossible, just as cleaving away science is impossible or cleaving away art or cleaving away history are.
So basically, I’ve been doing dialectics my whole life and getting mad at people in authority who don’t do it, without knowing what it was called. Neat.
'Muricans say “line” while the Bri’ish say “queue.” That’s dialectics, baby!
“Guys we were just paying lip service to not liking genocide. Please don’t try and apply that to anything that actually matters. We don’t acknowledge genocide until it’s already over. Thanks.” - Every Liberal basically
We don’t acknowledge genocide until it’s already over
Or unless it’s manufactured by Radio Free Asia
just like the prophetic family guy episode said
WE RECENTLY POSTED AN ITEM ON SOCIAL MEDIA THAT WAS PART OF A PRE-PLANNED SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN INTENDED TO PROMOTE INCLUSIVITY AND COMMUNITY THAT WAS EASILY OPEN TO MISINTERPRETATION BY SOME TO BE A POLITICAL STATEMENT REFLECTING THE ONGOING SITUATION IN THE MIDDLE EAST. THAT WAS NOT OUR INTENT.
So basically what you are saying is that you don’t have a problem with somebody exterminating Palestinians. Gotcha.
What a cowardly response. I bet that the real reason was that someone at the museum wanted to do a little experiment and retracted it once they received more Herzlian whining than they expected. But don’t worry: once this apartheid régime inevitably collapses, neoimperialists are all going to pretend that they were against it from the very beginning.
“We really didn’t mean it when we said we meant it.”
Okay cool
Edit: lmao it reads like a shitty breakup text when I read it back to me
i just read the statement. i don’t get it. are they against genocide or not?
“ongoing situation in the middle east” being the primary, confusing language used
Never Again from the museum’s perspective is for the polite society.
Never again from Meir Kahana is what the comments and the board actually believe
Libs are more scared to alienate zionists than condemn a genocide.
I don’t know how to deal with the immense feeling of disgust I have towards these pro-genocide libs.
In what world could you claim that discussing the Holocaust can be apolitical? It’s just denialism to act like you can disconnect politics from conversations about the Holocaust.
And to stay on the sidelines as a Holocaust museum is more than just cowardly. It’s actively providing cover for genocide.
Zionazis doing everything they can to destroy the lessons of the Holocaust and spread antisemtism.
