The acting deputy chief of a Justice Department unit said on hidden camera that the government will “redact every Republican” from an Epstein client list. He later admitted he was basing his comments on media reports.
Why it matters: The O’Keefe Media Group, a far-right media organization, secretly recorded Joseph Schnitt’s comments and published them on Thursday.

Based on the fact that no corporate media sewers have picked up the story (it only appears on Hindustan Times, HuffPost, Daily Beast, MSN, Times Now (?), Yahoo, and the O’Keefe Media Group website) I’m going to guess it’s not actually of any value, so to speak.
If he “admitted” it was “based on media reports” i.e. he never saw the list or has anything to do with it, it’s just the “O’Keefe Media Group” (jesus fred christ on a busted goddamned crutch) trying to get some viral press.
Now, yes perhaps the corporate news sewers are trying to suppress the story and the “O’Keefe Media Group” has scored a huge takedown of the trump administration. But all things being equal, probably not.
So, nobody read it?
