Why is she expecting sympathy and justice from her party. They’re neither capable nor willing.

It’s like these people believe Trump is some well intentioned guy and if they could just say the right things, he will realize that he’s making a mistake and stop.

No but like fr. Every single thing they don’t like about Trump, they blame on his advisors. “We don’t like vaccines, so he didn’t really greenlight vaccine research, it was Faucci in his ear. He didn’t really disbelieve the 2020 election was stolen, Sidney Powell was in his ear (until it was palatable to them).” Every step of the way if they like something then it’s him, if they don’t it’s someone else (until they like it). Two months ago they were blaming Bondi for mishandling the files; just give it time, in a few years they’ll unironically say he befriended Epstein to infiltrate him or some shit. Give it a couple more and I guarantee the party line is going to be “look at [victim]. Do you really think that someone like that wasn’t asking for it?”

Vote for the pedophile party and you’ll get pedophiles who protect their own. Crazy how these people still don’t understand that.

      B) Deranged response to a survivor of childhood sexual exploitation who is trying to get justice

You didn’t have to vote for trump to contribute to the shitshow that is the US right now. Identifying as a Republican is not as damning as being MAGA, but it’s 98% of the way there.

Mitch McConnell could be argued to be the man who killed the US with how much damage he did to it. Right now Trump is the evil that’s at the top because he got control of the party, but the house wouldn’t be falling apart around had the termite infestation of Moscow Mitch not put holes through the entire thing.

You’re completely right. Identifying as a republican doesn’t matter if you voted Trump or not, Republicans ARE the problem.

If you can’t feel sympathy for someone who was sexually exploited as a child because of the party they’ve registered with—because, reminder, you don’t know how they voted—you need to take a moral inventory.

I can have sympathy for what happened in the past and can still get schadenfreude from this Nazi supporter now. A past tragedy does not excuse being a Republican.

I find it hard to have sympathy for a victim of a crime who supports the perpetrators and protectors of the perpetrators.

I mean, I agree it’s pretty dismissive and cruel, but the point is clearly that they’re politically backing the people least likely to deliver them justice on this issue.

Could be registered R but not vote for them. That’s common in red states when you have to vote for R primaries and hopefully dodge the crazy ass MAGA types.

Regardless of that. There’s no way Trump is coming to see those women. Hell, he probably abused or raped 25% of them. Facing the music isn’t something Trump does. He will, however, call them names on social media.

Conservatives are either greedy, misogynistic racists, or idiots who believe in things that aren’t true.

There’s a lot of cross over between the three, but those are the characteristic that make someone conservative.
