If you drink alcohol, try a sloe gin at some point, it’s delicious. The plummy flavour works so well with the bitterness of the gin and the tonic water, also it’s a really pretty shade of purple.
If you also like the taste of saffron, Hendrick’s had a fantastic saffron gin a few years back. This one’s orange, best with a soda water mixer, and tastes creamy almost and slightly almondy with how the spice mingles with the body of the gin.
I really miss gin sometimes, drinking absolutely wipes out my energy levels to the point where it’s not remotely worth it anymore though. Alas lol.
As a present for looking after the dog the other week my sister got me a watermelon and kiwi gin (one of the limited ones that whitley neill sometimes do) and its soooo good. I think I replied back to her later that day saying how good it was and got a response “that was quick”… like, its a friday afternoon, what did you expect?
