Trump brokered a deal with the “fifth estate” that if he stops saying “fake news” and agreed to apply sign-offs to his twitter posts (to make them more “presidential”) then they will stop calling him an anti-democratic fascist.

Tellingly, his prior critics did not care if he retained his anti-democratic, fascistic tendencies.
