A couple months ago I called a particular Bluesky poster slash lawyer a shitlib. I poked fun at his post where he said Trump was an imbecile and what he was doing was illegal and anti-constitutional. Yeah, we know. But what will the democrats do about it?
His fan base made fun of me. And he quoted my post which he must of thought would embarrass me but it made me laugh. I didn’t bother to reply to the people making fun of me. My point was the OP is a type of lib I cannot stand. I’d seen him make post after post after post about the racist history of the US and fundamental and unjust problems in the constitution. In 178x blah blah blah and in 183x blah blah the fuck blah.
I’d never seen him say a single word about what the democrats and everyday Americans must do to stop the current racist situation and racist administration. I’m certain that he’ll join the libs next year in their highly irritating election season custom. They’ll make a cicada-like “blue no matter who” drone of Vote! Vote! Vote! Vooooooote! Vote! Vote! Vote! Vooooooote!
Now is always too soon. I don’t know if these people understand history is a living thing and they are a part of it. Not truly. Their actions say otherwise. To use a clumsy metaphor it’s like they think reality is a boat and the past and the present is the time the course gets changed. The present you just helplessly hold on and “ride it out.”
