    It’s weird that this feels more important than if he’d actually gotten someone from the NFL, even though the NFL earned twice the revenue of Blackstone in 2024

      It’s the morality of the revenue. Not that the NFL is squeaky clean, but mass corporate rentierism that’s keeping people out of home ownership is another level of gross.

        Yeah you don’t need football to survive, but you do need shelter. The NFL, for as stupid as it can be in a lot of instances, makes its money from providing something people want to see, rather than profiting off of something they need.
