Has there been a natural disaster in Texas that he didn’t run away from?
If anything, I would have expected him to be super into NOAA just so he knows when to fly to Cancun.
He was probably given access the NOAA VIP subscription.
More importantly, he stayed on vacation after the disaster.
Looks like the flood happened on the 4th and ted was seen in Texas on the 7th.
On Saturday, July 5, at about 6 p.m. local time (11 a.m. ET)—more than 24 hours after the Guadalupe River burst its banks—Cruz and his wife were spotted by a Swamp spy lining up outside the iconic tourist site.
“He was with his family and a lone security guard,” said an eyewitness at the Parthenon. “As he walked past us, I simply said, ‘20 kids dead in Texas and you take a vacation?’
“He sort of grunted and walked on. His wife shot me a dirty look. Then they continued on with their tour guide.”
“Yeah, what do I care about some dead poors? I’m getting re-elected regardless.”

Rafael always flees the country when those he represents need him there. He was in Mexico when their janky third world power grid collapsed during winter weather.
At this point we have to conclude that Texas enjoys the humiliation.

The warnings went out hours ahead of time and the officials in charge failed to react.
But hey! These critics say otherwise! And when I say “critics say otherwise” I actually mean that critics criticized funding cuts. And when I put that quote next to a quote from a politician, it can trick people into thinking they’re saying what I said they’re saying!
