So my family’s chickens are old and a bit skittish (they weren’t super socialized when they were young) except for one. This hen hurt her leg at some point and couldn’t walk very well for a week so my sister would carry her around, to the water dish, food etc. Since she recovered over a year ago she is the only hen who lets everyone pick her up. She’ll even run out to see people and will stand on your shoe until you carry her.
