God YouTube is a hellhole. Don’t get me started on how much unprompted animal cruelty YouTube shorts serves me. Literally just got a discusting video that opens with a close up of someone squashing bees with their finger. Serial killer shit.
These kind of comments were so common on reddit as well. They do it on animal cruelty videos and documentaries condemning the meat industry that have grotesque footage.
I have seen people feeding chicken nuggets to flightless birds, seagulls and pigeons a couple of times. They thought it was hilarious and wished they could do it to chickens as well.
The thing that confuses me is the Hazbin avatar. This kind of outdated anti-vegan bait is something I’d expect from an elderly relative at Thanksgiving. I don’t think boomers watch Hazbin Hotel?
I have seen all generations do it to be fair. This kind of a bait just always felt right wing in general (including libs) to me.
It’s very “You got upset when I shit on the floor, therefore I win.” vibes that we see from right-wingers for sure.
