It’s borderline reflexive at this point. The family members are victims, but the people who deserve that restitution that they now won’t receive don’t even get a mention. I guess they can still sue since a pardon doesn’t cover civil liability, but that’s beside the point.

Well you do elect the god king that can supercede all other powers at all times.
