Interesting statistic:
The number of Best-of-One Standard Constructed games ending before turn four has essentially doubled since the release of Duskmourn: House of Horror.
Important to note – wildcards will be given out, but the banning takes effect today, so I don’t know if there’s actually any window to do the “crafting in anticipation of wildcard refunds” thing. (Edit: wildcards have now been given out.)
Was about to quote the exact same sentence, that’s insane and really speaks to how big of disruption this card was for Bo1.
Standard being a turn 4 format is too crazy for me. That feels like Modern.
I’m glad they acted on this in Bo1, I think its totally fine and should be encouraged to be pro-active about bans in Bo1 in Arena. That is definitely a different game than Bo3 and should be treated as such.
