If you don’t know the difference between leftist and liberal you should probably crack open wikipedia before you try to crack a witty retort.

I haven’t seen any (on iOS/Memmy), but I had NSFW turned off on my main instance profile (lemmy.world), not sure if the toggle works within the app. Try turning it off from your main instance in your browser.
Senkaku islands, there’s pretty regular posturing from both sides over the ownership of a couple barren rocks since they have implications for territorial waters.
Here’s the wikipedia article:
Yeah, unfortunately while it’s very simple to set up compressor levels in a DAW or even in feature-rich players like VLC, I haven’t come across any easy way to blanket apply one to your computer’s output without weirdly looping it through something like Ableton.
It seems like it should be so simple to have in Windows sound settings, but it’s never been an option. Sometimes there’s a toggle for “normalization”, but that gives you no control at all. You at least should be able to set compression ratio, lower threshold (in dB), and upper threshold (in dB).
Toronto is basically Sudan, that’s what NewsCorp told me anyway
Is this a phone screenshot of a photo of a crt monitor? It’s practically fossilized.
Fewer mobile users maybe? For whatever reason, autocorrect/autocomplete suggestions on iOS always tries to add inappropriate apostrophes to plural words. Without fail, every single time. I sometimes reflexively tap the autocomplete suggestion to finish longer words and it’s really aggravating.

Those tags don’t work on Wefwef either ☹️
The only issues I have are with the Battlenet launcher, it sometimes crashes during startup when first opening D4 seemingly at random but once the game is running I don’t have any issues. Currently running it on Proton Experimental.
As far as settings go, at default settings D4 seems to be extremely taxing on the GPU (constant >=97% usage, high temps, crashes regularly after running for a while), although this seems to be common to all systems including PS5/Xbox.
Locking refresh rate and in-game menu FPS to 50fps keeps the power and GPU usage much lower and I get stable performance with no crashes.
Play it on the couch sitting next to my wife while we watch tv or movies in the evenings.
Spending nights sitting at a desktop (or monopolizing the TV) is frequently impractical and honestly unappealing to me, the SD makes it extremely convenient to play whenever.
The other big appeal is emulation- it wasn’t why I purchased one, but setting up Emudeck and Steam Rom Manager is incredibly convenient and lets you easily run anything up to WiiU/PS3 gen seamlessly from game mode. For that alone I would recommend it, the ease of access and convenience is amazing.
I would not recommend Lutris/wine for D4 since it tuns perfectly on Proton Experimental, at that point you are just introducing another layer of potential compatibility issues that are completely unnecessary. I tried using Lutris on launch day and it was a total headache with various components being incompatible.
Just install the launcher in desktop mode and add it as a steam game, then set compatibility mode to Proton Experimental. Done.
I have not been able to stop playing D4, but Grim Dawn plays absolutely perfectly on the Deck, one of the games I would recommend the most.
It’s been a long road…
Bethesda really has no incentive to actually make TES6 so long as they have healthy subscribers for TES Online, I’m not surprised at all the game has likely been put on ice until the next generation.
Fortunately Starfield looks amazing and will hopefully fill that void for most of us who want a single player experience.
