I love the thrill of trying something new. Sure, I’ve had to create a couple accounts and am still trying to figure out if I want the lemmy.world or kbin PWA, or do I want jerboa, but it’s all worth being a part of something new and growing.
It is getting a little tough to keep certain niche communities alive with interest waning amongst the Normans, but that’s to be expected.
Eventually, Spez is gonna do something super shitty again and drive another 10-20k or maybe 100k users away and hopefully by then Lemmy and the like evolve even moreso to the point where a larger percentage of them stick around.

July 1st will be another influx as the 3PAs die. How many more follow depends on how much the old mods and power users stick around.
